Ethics of care committee
Dialogue and reflection are key to providing better assistance.
The EULEN Servicios Sociosanitarios Ethics of Care Committee’s goal is the care of and assistance provided to people who are dependent or vulnerable. The committee provides time and space for deliberating issues relating to the ethics of care, as well as bringing this work closer to employees, users and relatives.
The Committee is made up of workers from different professions, user representatives and legal experts who have clearly defined goals:
Protect
To protect users, their relatives and patients.
Advise
To advise professionals in ethics-related decision-making and conflict resolution that may arise as we provide our services.
Propose
To propose alternatives or solutions to the ethical conflicts presented, supporting professionals, relatives, users and patients.
Draw up
To draw up consensus documents about issues that may lead to an ethical dilemma.
Promote
To promote employee training in ethical issues.
